IHQ Introduces Alumni Ambassador Position

Theta Chi Fraternity is excited to announce its newest Alumni Ambassador position. Introducing the Professional Development Ambassador!
The Professional Development Ambassador is an alumnus who will be the leader for his chapter’s collegians and alumni seeking jobs, internships, networking, and career development. A Professional Development Ambassador serves as an important communication link between the collegians and alumni, allowing full use of Theta Chi’s great network of members.
What is the role of the Professional Development Ambassador?
· Provide guest speaking opportunities to the chapter regarding professional development topics (e.g. résumé critiques, job searching, mock interviews, dress for success)
· Encourage alumni to help provide and/or communicate job opportunities that become available
· Maintain a consistent LinkedIn platform for brothers to use and network www.linkedin.com
· Build relationships with other Professional Development Ambassadors to use their networks as well
Who would be a great fit for this role?
The purpose of this volunteer role is to give each chapter a direct point of contact as it pertains to professional development. A great candidate for this position is an alumnus brother who possesses the following:
Has a wide network amongst their fellow chapter brothers
Has a career in professional development (human resources, recruiter, management, etc.)
Works well with collegians
Passionate about authentic networking
Familiar with online networking platforms
