Pledging Ceremony Has Been Postponed

Dear Brothers,

Due to the extenuating circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, the pledging ceremony scheduled for March 28, 2020 has been postponed indefinitely. For those of you who are unaware, Penn State sent all students home as part of their response to the virus outbreak, which has also resulted in the retraction of the field executives from IHQ. We will continue to do our best to keep you all informed in the coming weeks.

As I’ve mentioned previously, we are actively pursuing a leasing agreement for the Fall with another organization to help with our financial situation regarding the house, which has been vacant since May 2019. We are continually grateful for any and all support provided by our alumni during these difficult times, and assure you that we are working to perpetuate the success of our chapter, and our chapter house at Penn State.

If you would like to donate to support the chapter, please visit our website (http://www.thetachiomega.com/) and click donate to lend us your helping hand. If you would like to help us sustain unavoidable bills (mortgage, taxes, utilities, insurance, etc), we are asking any and all alumni to help financially where they can, be it $20, $10, or even $5 monthly. These easy, automatic monthly payments are managed using PayPal. If I can donate $10 monthly as a full-time grad student without income, then so can you! We will rebuild TOGETHER.

If you have any questions, concerns, or comments regarding the chapter, or if you just want to chat while practicing social distancing, please reach out to me directly at a.speags@gmail.com, or to the Board at oxomegaboard@gmail.com

Love & Respect,
