Theta Chi of Penn State Alumni Board Elections - Vote!

Dear Brother,

It is time once again time to elect members for the Alumni Board of Theta Chi of Penn State. Below you will find the nominated candidates and a short bio about each of them. As we are electing six members to the board in accordance with our new bylaws, this vote will serve as a formality/confirmation for all six candidates. You may vote for any three candidates in person at the Homecoming Alumni meeting, Sunday October November 12th at 10 AM. If you cannot make the meeting you may email kevintrippel@gmail.com with your selections. Voting by email will end Friday November 10th at 11:59 PM.

Chris Burke '93 – Chris graduated in 1993 with a degree in accounting.  He worked for Bear Stearns, Morgan Stanley, and PricewaterhouseCoopers.  He is a licensed CPA.  He is currently the CEO of the Maxus Group, and has been a Theta Chi Board Member and Treasurer since 2008. 

Paul Kirkegaard ’92 – Paul graduated in 1992 with a degree in Finance. He worked as a PGA Professional with Marriott for 23 years, before moving to the Grand Lodge of Maryland where he serves as the assistant controller.

Jason Jonas ‘15 – Jason joined Theta Chi in the fall semester of 2012 while majoring in secondary education mathematics. He is currently in his second year as a high school math teacher at The Academy Charter School. He also coaches high school volleyball for South Park high school and Elizabeth Forward high school, and is a manager of a sports complex (Court Time Sports Center).

Ian Maxwell ’14 – Ian pledged Theta Chi in Fall 2010, and graduated in Spring 2014 with a BS in Accounting. Ian has been a member of the executive board for one term. He currently resides in the Bucks County, PA and work at SEI Investments as a fund and portfolio accounting supervisor.

Aaron Speagle ’12 – Aaron graduated in December 2012 with a BS in Nuclear Engineering. He joined Theta Chi as a snap bid in the Fall of 2009, served many roles as an undergrad, and currently serves as Secretary for the Alumni Board. He resides in Norfolk, VA where he is a Nuclear Engineer for a US Department of Defense contractor that works on Aircraft Carriers and Submarines.

Dave Stoltzfus ’13 – Brother Stoltzfus pledged the fall of his freshman year in 2010 and graduated from Penn State in 2013 with a degree in Supply Chain & Information Systems Management. Since graduation he has worked for Lockheed Martin in Washington DC and Philadelphia, and then for Boeing in Seattle WA and now currently for Boeing in the Philadelphia area in their Supplier Management group.
