2016 Work Weekend and Founder's Day Events

Brothers,

April 2nd will mark the annual Alumni Work Weekend. This alumni sponsored event focuses on projects to improve the chapter house at 523 S Allen St. Past projects have included installing parking security cameras, carpeting the Outland room and adding a pool table. This year, we will be working on landscaping the front of the house to improve it's curb appeal. Efforts will include post-winter lawn cleanup, addressing overgrown vegetation, and spreading fresh mulch in the flowerbeds. Other projects will cover rearrangement of the first floor furniture and installation of sound equipment for social events.

Work will start at 10 AM on Saturday, and all who are enabled to attend are encouraged. Those who cannot attend but would like to support the projects can donate via check mailed to the following address:

Also coming up in April is the Penn State Blue and White spring football game on April 16th. We will be hosting our Spring Founders Day meeting at the chapter house on the following day, Sunday April 17th at 10:30 AM. This is our semi-annual corporation meeting to review chapter operations, vote on bylaw amendments, and evaluate the current standing of the house. This meeting is open to all alumni in good standing, and will be followed by light refreshments.
