Accept the 2017 THON Alumni Challenge

For 44 years, Penn State students have been joining together in pursuit of one common mission—to rid the world of childhood cancer. Since 1973, the efforts of those involved in the Penn State Dance Marathon (THON) have resulted in over $136 million raised for our sole beneficiary, Four Diamonds at Penn State Children’s Hospital. THON’s more than 16,500 Penn State student volunteers work tirelessly to make a difference in the lives of children, and this #GivingTuesday, we are asking you to join us in our fight.

With only eighty days until THON 2017, we encourage you not to let your graduation be your end in the fight against childhood cancer. #GivingTuesday—a national day devoted to giving back—is an opportunity to make an impact in the lives of children today and generations of tomorrow.

This #GivingTuesday, you can accept the THON 2017 Alumni Challenge. Make a gift, and unite with THON in our shared mission on social media—using the hashtags #AlumniFTK and #GivingTuesdayFTK—to inspire your fellow Penn Staters to take action in the fight against childhood cancer. Join us to see who will raise the most in this rematch of the decades For The Kids™!

Together, united in our mission, we can continue to make a difference in the life of a child.

For The Kids™,
