2014 Alumni Work Weekend Recap (and Photos)
The 7th annual alumni work weekend went off without a hitch. The original cast iron tub in the basement bathroom was demoed and removed preparing Jeff Damcott to refinish the bathroom with new drywall, a closet where the tub was, and a functioning door. The pantry hallway was given a fresh coat of paint and the pantry closet was cleaned out and organized. The newly remodeled porch was spruced up with the addition of brand new furniture, and the volleyball (street sign pole) on the side of the house was dug up and removed. On the first floor all of the carpets were cleaned and security cameras were installed to keep an eye on our neighbors (Phi Sig), the parking lot, and the side porch/front door. I would like to thank the following alumni brothers for joining us this past weekend helping to fix up the house: Jeff Damcott, Rich Bartnik, Dave Hartwich, Jeremy Railing, Alex Tessmer and Matt Randazzo.
And the following brothers who couldn’t make it but generously donated towards the projects: Jasen Marshall, Richard Maltz, Richard L. Hill and John McElwee
We hope that you make it to State College for Blue and White weekend on Saturday April 12th. If you are in town please stop by the chapter house at 5pm for our annual Founder’s Day BBQ.
