Alumni Reports
1. President’s Report – given by Jeff Damcott
- Dave apologizes for not being here as he is at a wedding
- We are continuing to work on a housing contract plan to help set the rates for future semesters
- We have been included in an e-mail discussion about options for ensuring the highest house occupancy numbers. We are not the only fraternity encountering lower numbers of in-house brothers than is wanted. Our own faculty adviser has provided input to this discussion.

2. Treasurer’s Report – Chris Burke (Download Report)
- Financial Report—Discussed the budget numbers needed to run the house, the out of house brother fees and the billing software changes that may have caused minor issues
- Numbers/Brothers in the House—Currently 28 had anticipated 31 but 2 did not move in due to personal reasons and one graduated and transferred to Texas A&M to finish a second degree Spring numbers are anticipated at 25 to 26 with graduation and student teaching.
Undergraduate Reports
3. President – Jeb Biernat (Download Report)
- Target of 15 new members in spring class
- Kicks is still with AZD looking to raise $1000+
- Discussion about out of house fees and cost to join the fraternity. We have been included in an e-mail discussion about options for ensuring the highest house occupancy numbers. We are not the only fraternity encountering lower numbers of in-house brothers than is wanted. Our own faculty adviser has provided input to this discussion.
- Also switching Flicks to GI Theta Chi in the spring to align with OX National philanthropy to support the USO will be like a 5K obstacle course run
4. Treasurer – Sam Kulp (Download Report)
- Working to increase their reserve account
5. Misc
- Encouraged undergrads to submit all paperwork to qualify for IFC awards

7. New Business
- Future Renovation Projects – Jeff Damcott—Will be working as a board to review our finances from the capital campaign to set a plan to move forward on the house condition review performed by Br. Schrader
- Just received quote for the bar floor to replace the asbestos floor that was removed.
- Made repairs to kitchen floor to try and extend the life for a few more years.
- Ask for the actives input if there are any major infrastructure issues that are becoming larger concerns
- Sam Kulp brought up the possibility of looking at the 100th anniversary as a target to a new capital campaign as he and other classmates his age will be into their careers and in a better position to help
- Announced the need for nomination for the alumni board for next years elections. Looking for some of the newer graduates and those interested to start thinking about service. There are going to be a few current members not seeking reelection.
8. For the Good
- 28 brothers in the house
- 13 guys in the new class and a target of 25+ for the school year.
- Second place homecoming
