John Leister Jr, a 1953 Penn State graduate, died on February 25 2009, in Audubon, PA. John loved telling stories of his pledge days at Theta Chi. He was a Music Education major at Penn State and loved marching with the Blue Band. He was an instrumental teacher in New York, Pennsylvania, and was New Jersey from 1953 until 1994.

John is survived by his wife, Nancy, three children, seven grand children, two great-grand children. Two of the grandchildren are currently attending Penn State.
