Help Support the Kids - Donate to Thon 2008

Friday, February 22 - Sunday, February 24

Thousands of Penn State students are working hard to prepare for THON 2008. The 36th annual Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon (THON) is this week, and everyone is committed to topping last year's impressive total. THON 2007 raised a record-breaking $5.2 million to support the children who benefit from The Four Diamonds Fund.

For The Kids

THON benefits The Four Diamonds Fund at Penn State Children's Hospital and provides more than 80 percent of The Four Diamonds Fund's annual income.

The Four Diamonds Fund offsets the cost of treatments that insurance does not cover, as well as other expenses that may disrupt the welfare of the child, such as car repairs, rent, or household utilities. The Fund also supports the medical team that cares for the children and funds pediatric cancer research through start-up grants and The Four Diamonds Pediatric Cancer Research Institute.

Hope Finds a Way

THON begins Friday, February 22 at 6:00 p.m. in the Bryce Jordan Center at University Park and will run until Sunday, February 24 at 4:00 p.m.
