Preserving a Legacy at Penn State

Dear Brothers,

Download Project SummaryWe are setting the standard at Penn State. Delivering the second-highest GPA among fraternity men in the fall of 2003 and averaging 26 hours of community service per brother each semester, our Omega Chapter is utilizing its strengths to foster growth and build momentum on the Penn State campus.

Tremendous change continues to take place... in State College, on the Penn State campus, in the Greek community, and specifically, at 523 South Allen. And while we see continually rising GPA's, more and more planned undergraduate-graduate events and a growing number of rushees, the infrastructure of our chapter house is suffering. Without the ability to show a rush prospects a safe, pleasant and updated house, the future competitiveness of our chapter is questionable.

Let us remember 2004 as the year we helped preserve the ideals and traditions of Omega by providing a respectable chapter house - a place that was once a home to many of you, is now a home to our youngest brothers and will be the future home of incoming Omega brothers. How can we build a stronger chapter if the steps beneath our feet are crumbling? How can we effectively recruit more promising young men if we cannot ensure them a safe and up-to-date place to call home?

This is our strategic plan on how we, as Omega brothers, can meet a set of unified goals for our chapter. We are looking to you - the Omega Chapter brotherhood - for your feedback. This is not a solicitation for your financial support, but your input on the future of the chapter. We are asking you to take a few moments, review the Project Summary and return the Feasibility Survey by July 23, 2004, or fill out the survey online.

As we look to future generations of scholars, athletes, friends, and most importantly, brothers, it is essential that we provide an environment worthy of Theta Chi - one rich in heritage, strong in academic support and simply able to operate competitively on a day-to-day basis. The choice is ours to make.

Thank you for giving us your time. Every brother's input is valued and can help us determine if the financial and volunteer support exists to allow us, as a chapter, to manage the needed renovations to the house.

If you do have any questions or would like to discuss this, please see the contact information below and on the Project Summary. We look forward to hearing from you.

Fraternally,
